Recently, I made a comment on the Dusted or Busted page, saying:
"This way of proving this "who should win" is a little flawed.
As a fellow Alaska fan, I know people are going to use this against the "Katya was robbed" theory. And it's what I call, bullshit.
First of all, if a queen lasted in the competition longer, and was in the bottom, she loses more points. Which, places her at a negative, and makes her lesser than the first to be eliminated. In reality, this is foolish to compare someone who scored higher than the first eliminated.
Second of all, these go by challenges. Those can't really truly determine a queen's skill - and therefore makes it invalid. This is just on RuPaul's Drag Race, which isn't really all their skill.
Third, you can't compare queens to each other from various seasons, because of the episode count. This means that if BeBe Zahara Bonet was compared to Alaska, she'd easily be looked down upon for having 3 points, whilst Alaska has 7.
Because this system is broken, I find this page a little bit unnessecary."
How do you feel about this? Because it doesn't need to be on the wiki.
I read that you're known for coding, so I took the chance and here I am, because I need some help!
When I first saw your profile I was totally fascinated, because your style is so unique and I really love it, and I'm here to ask you a few things because coding is really new for me.
I really want to know how you named the buttons that usually display 'Admin' or 'Bureucrat' into 'Glamazon', 'Hunty' and 'Bianca Del Rio', I love that idea and since I'm an active admin on the German AHS Wiki I think it would be cool to name these buttons into characters I like.
And how did you display your global editings?
The last thing I want to know is, how can I put a picture (or gif) with some text on my message wall? I've been trying to figure that out for ages, and you're my last hope...
I also really don't want to look like a total copycat, as I already said, I love your ideas and these are some nice details that would definitely make my profile look more interesting.
hey henny, i'm soo sorry for getting back to you so late! i greatly appreciate you complimenting my coding and i'm always happy to help with anything you need. but before i explain everything, i just wanna make sure that you still actually need help haha or if you ended up finding it elsewhere bc i took way too long. so just let me know :)
No problem! I'm literally so happy right now, because I still need your help. I figured out you've been gone for a while, but I didn't mind, I just thought I should wait until you answer. I need help with the same things in my 1st message.
ok so i'll start with the easiest thing first and work my way to the most complex.
once that's done, in order to display global edits on a wiki, go to the MediaWiki:ImportJS page on your desired wiki and paste the following:
keep in mind tho that this code will not work on wikis that have discussions enabled. the discussion count overrides the global edit count for whatever reason.
next, to edit your message wall greeting, go to Message_Wall_Greeting:Gagahs on your desired wiki. from there you can add whatever you want to display on your message wall. you can just throw in a gif and some text like you said or if you want me to design something for you, just let me know what you want and i'd be happy to create it.
now, for the custom profile tags, you have a couple options. i'll give you both so that you can decide which one you prefer. this can be slightly complicated for really new coders so i'll try to explain it to the best of my ability.
then you can obv change Bianca Del Rio to whatever you want your custom tag to be. additionally, this has to be submitted to staff for approval afterwards, which usually takes a few days. and it only allows you to have one custom tag.
so that's about it. if you have any further questions about my explanations or need any more help with stuff, feel free to ask :)
I already wrote a really long answer, but it didn't send so I'm going to keep it short:
Now the message wall part:
Thank you for even offering that you would design my message wall, I just love yours and if we're being honest here mine would look like crap... So I gladly accept it, and maybe that is too much to ask but could you design two different message walls for me? Gifs are down below:
I would like to have the edges round just like yours and this German text:
Willkommen auf meiner Nachrichtenseite! (above the gif)
Falls du Hilfe brauchst, Fragen hast oder reden willst kannst du mir hier schreiben! (below the gif)
The color for the border on the first one should be light blue, and the space where the gif is placed should be the darker blue tone merging into a darker grey tone from the empty box where you can write stuff. (I hope you know what I mean, here's my profile: http://de.shadowhunterstv.wikia.com/wiki/Nachrichtenseite:Gagahs) (I hope that link works because theres a German word)
I also have two more things I wanted to ask (but they are just secondary):
I already looked up some Community pages but I always can't find the answers I'm looking for so I'm asking you: How can I design infoboxes? Like how can different boxes have different colors? I know I probably have to edit that in CSS but I'm not experienced in that. Heres an example: Infoboxes for characters on the AHS Wiki should be red and black, merging into each other. Infoboxes for Actors/actresses should be grey and black, merging into each other. And how can I make the space where the article name is placed thinner? I would really like to design them by my own, but I need your help with that as well...
One last question (I know I'm annoying haha):
When I'm clicking on your name tags they glow. Like, they get white and they glow, how can I do that?
Thank you so much for reading!!!
(If I made some grammar mistakes I'm really sorry ahhh)
